AKP District Chair and District Governor hospitalized
Eleven people were taken to the hospital with suspected food poisoning after inspecting road construction work in Kadıköy, a village in the Keşan district of Edirne. Among those hospitalized were Keşan District Governor Cemalettin Yılmaz and the AKP Keşan District Chair.
Keşan District Governor Cemalettin Yılmaz, AKP Keşan District Chair Gürcan Kılınç, and 11 others who were inspecting road construction work in Kadıköy, a village in the Keşan district of Edirne, were taken to the hospital in the evening with suspected food poisoning.
According to the information obtained, Keşan District Governor Cemalettin Yılmaz and AKP Keşan District Chair Gürcan Kılınç went to the area to inspect road construction work being carried out by the Edirne Provincial Special Administration in Kadıköy. They were served refreshments, which included chicken, by the Kadıköy Village Headman's office. After the inspection was completed, District Governor Yılmaz and District Chair Kılınç left the village.
However, in the evening, 11 people who presented to Keşan State Hospital with complaints of nausea were taken under treatment due to suspected food poisoning. Cemalettin Yılmaz, Gürcan Kılınç, and some other personnel were discharged after receiving intravenous fluids. It was learned that the conditions of the other individuals receiving treatment at the hospital are good.
