Stock market warning to Mehmet Şimşek from AKP figure: 'Things are not going well'

Tayyar warned Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek against speculators in the stock market, stating, "Things are not going well in the stock market."

Pointing out that Minister Şimşek is one of the honest politicians who has managed to stay away from dirty relationships, Şamil Tayyar said, "In fact, he is not even considered a politician in the classical sense; his technocratic side is more prominent."

Drawing attention to speculators in the stock market and issuing warnings to Şimşek, Tayyar used the following expressions: "Break up the schemes of speculators who see the small investor as a 'source of zero-interest public credit.' Things are not going well in the stock market."

Şamil Tayyar's post is as follows:

"I know Minister Mehmet Şimşek well; we did politics together in Gaziantep. After taking the wheel of the economy, he did very positive things; first and foremost, he put an end to the currency-protected deposit absurdity.

Significant progress has been made. My biggest criticism regarding the economic policies he implements is that their social aspect is weak. There are other criticisms as well.

But let me say this; he is one of the honest politicians who has managed to keep his name away from financial, dirty relationships while managing a massive budget. In fact, he is not even considered a politician in the classical sense; his technocratic side is more prominent.

He is moral, he is honest. We know that being good is not enough; one must also stay away from the bad. The state is contagious. My dear minister, please take a hand in this stock market.

Break up the schemes of speculators who see the small investor as a 'source of zero-interest public credit.' Things are not going well in the stock market."
