AKP member Şamil Tayyar and Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, known to the public as 'ROK', have shared posts following the documents regarding Akın Gürlek released by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel. Both figures confirmed the incident while announcing that Gürlek had resigned from his position prior to the investigation.
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's documents regarding Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek, who is conducting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) investigation, have suddenly become the number one topic on the political agenda. Stating that Gürlek received a salary from ETI Maden A.Ş. while he was involved in the case, Özel had indicated that due to these developments, the investigation was not being conducted properly and the process had been politicized.
