In a statement on his social media account, Saymaz announced the names who will move from the IYI Party to the AKP. These names had been the subject of discussion for some time.
İsmail Saymaz, noting that his AKP sources confirmed the information, included the following statements:
Istanbul deputies Ersagun Yücel and Seyithan İzsiz, who resigned from the IYI Party, are joining the AK Party on its anniversary on August 14.
Adana Deputy Bilal Bilici, who also left the IYI Party, is expected to join the AK Party on that day as well.

It is being discussed that the three deputies who were elected to parliament from the IYI Party in the 2023 General Elections and later resigned will join the AKP on its 23rd anniversary.
Istanbul Deputies Seyithan İzsiz and Ahmet Ersagun Yücel, and Adana Deputy Bilal Bilici, who are expected to join the AKP at the event to be held on August 14, are known for their closeness to former Chairwoman Meral Akşener, who held a private meeting with President Tayyip Erdoğan on June 5 and subsequently made no statement regarding the meeting.
