CHP's Yavuzyılmaz responds to AKP's Güler's 'fabrication' claim with documents: 'Now who is lying?'
CHP Deputy Chairman and Zonguldak MP Deniz Yavuzyılmaz responded with official documents to the controversy surrounding the summoning of Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem to testify.
Yavuzyılmaz responded via a statement on his social media account to AKP's Abdullah Güler, who had claimed that "the opposition is lying and fabricating" regarding the summoning of Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem to testify.
Following AKP's Güler's response to claims that Mayor Tahsin Erdem was summoned to testify for participating in a protest march against the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu—by stating "the opposition is lying and fabricating"—Yavuzyılmaz made a statement on his social media account.

Yavuzyılmaz used the following expressions in his post:
"Today, AKP Group Deputy Chairman Abdullah Güler, during a press conference, responded to a question regarding Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem and his family, who were summoned to testify for participating in a protest march against the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu, by saying: 'How do you know why they were summoned to testify? The opposition is lying, being untruthful, and fabricating.' I have disclosed the official documents regarding why our Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem and his family were summoned to testify.
Here is the document showing why our Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem was summoned for a prosecutor's statement. The reason for being summoned for a prosecutor's statement is: According to official documents, the march held to protest the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu. The allegation is acting in violation of the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911. Now who is lying? Who is being untruthful? Who is fabricating? These documents are also the police statement records taken from Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem's wife and two children due to their participation in the march held in support of Ekrem İmamoğlu."
