Scandalous 'Sharia' remarks from AKP's Kırşehir candidate: 'From now on in these squares...'
AKP Kırşehir Mayoral candidate Dr. Osman Arslan took the stage at a Mustafa Yıldızdoğan concert he organized yesterday and said, "These squares will no longer allow 'No to Sharia' banners to be carried."
With 1 day left until the local elections, a scandalous Sharia-related statement came from AKP's Kırşehir Mayoral candidate Dr. Osman Arslan.
Arslan, who organized a concert yesterday evening (March 29) for Mustafa Yıldızdoğan, known for his proximity to the MHP, took the stage and gave a speech.
Targeting the artist Suavi, who was brought in by the CHP on May 19, Arslan said, "From now on, it will not be Suavis, but Mustafa Yıldızdoğans who will give concerts in these squares."
Arslan, who was met with applause from those attending the concert, escalated his rhetoric and made a 'Sharia' statement.
Referring to the 'No to Sharia, to the caliphate, to darkness' banner opened by the SOL Party Kırşehir organization on March 4, Arslan made provocative remarks, saying, "From now on, the Holy Quran will be recited in these squares. These squares will not allow 'No to Sharia' banners to be carried."
