AKP Manavgat District Chair Erol has passed away
AKP Manavgat District Chair Ahmet Ali Erol has passed away after falling ill following a bypass surgery at a private hospital in Antalya.
AKP Manavgat District Chair Ahmet Ali Erol, who had recently undergone an angiography, had a bypass surgery at a private hospital where he went for a check-up.
After the surgery, Erol was taken to the intensive care unit, where he fell ill and passed away.
65-year-old Ahmet Ali Erol, who had been serving as district chair since February 2021, was married to the cousin of AKP Antalya MP Tuba Vural Çokal and had one daughter.
Ahmet Ali Erol's funeral is expected to be held at the Sorgun Cemetery. The news of Erol's death has caused great sadness in Manavgat.
