AKP mayor gets hand caught in grape machine
Saruhanlı Mayor Ekrem Cıllı was injured in his left hand while working with a grape-spreading machine on his own land; it was announced that his health condition is good.
AKP Saruhanlı Mayor Ekrem Cıllı was injured in an accident during the grape harvest in Manisa. It was reported that Cıllı got his hand caught in a grape-spreading machine.
After the machine was stopped, Cıllı was taken by an ambulance called to the scene to Manisa Celal Bayar University Hafsa Sultan Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
In a statement made by the Saruhanlı Municipality, it was stated that Cıllı was injured in his left hand while working on his own land. It was announced that initial examinations showed no life-threatening injuries or risk of limb loss.
It was noted that Mayor Cıllı was taken into surgery due to the injury to his left hand, that damage to his tendons was detected, and that his general health condition is good. It was stated that the treatment process is continuing under the supervision of physicians.
Manisa Metropolitan Mayor Besim Dutlulu also conveyed his get-well wishes to Cıllı in a message he published on his social media account, wishing him a speedy recovery.
