WHO IS NECAT CELLEK?
Born in 1966 in the Şirvan district of Siirt, Cellek completed his primary education in Şirvan and his secondary and high school education in Siirt.
Cellek, who stepped into his political life in 1994 as a member of the Provincial General Assembly, served as the Şirvan District Chairman of the Virtue Party (Fazilet Partisi) between 1999 and 2000.
Elected as the Mayor of Şirvan from the AKP in the 2004 local elections, Cellek subsequently won the 2009, 2014, 2019, and 2024 local elections, continuing his tenure without interruption.
