In a statement made via his social media account, Birinci listed the wrong steps taken by the AKP and drew attention to the discontent felt on the streets regarding these actions. 

Birinci, who made his self-criticism regarding the AKP with the words 'no one inside can speak with this level of openness,' used the following expressions:

It is clear that the economy cannot be fixed. I acknowledge that external factors do not permit it either, but this is the result.

If we consider that there will be an election around November 2027, there is nothing left; it will pass in the blink of an eye.

I see a very silent but very major discontent on the streets regarding the economy and judicial processes. 

I foresee a great danger for the climate I am a member of, which is not reflected or is not being reflected in public opinion polls."
