While the country's agenda is debating new trustee appointments, a noteworthy post came from AKP's Metiner. Mehmet Metiner, who visited MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli—who recently changed the political agenda with his remarks on Öcalan—shared a post on his social media account.
Metiner shared the frame in which they are seen together with the following lines:
"Today, I visited the wise leader, the honorable Devlet Bahçeli, at the MHP Headquarters.
During our one-on-one meeting, which lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes, we had a long and heartfelt conversation. We exchanged views on national issues.
I benefited greatly.
I thank him for receiving me."
