Interesting assessment from AKP's Tayyar on MHP's 'Külliye boycott': It could be an opportunity
While no one from the CHP, DEM Party, or IYI Party attended the October 29 Republic Day reception held at the invitation of AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, the absence of anyone from the MHP also drew attention. While political circles allege that the boycott stems from significant tension, a notable comment came from AKP's Şamil Tayyar.
A reception was held at the Presidential Külliye on October 29 for the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey. Both those who attended and those who did not attend the event, held under the auspices of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, drew attention.
While claims that the crisis that began after the Cyprus election had grown were voiced following the reception, which no MHP figures attended, there had been no comment from the AKP front on the matter.
A notable comment came from AKP's Şamil Tayyar regarding the tension rumors circulating in political circles. Stating that the MHP boycott is an opportunity to reduce the tension between the two parties, Tayyar used the following expressions:
"The MHP's silent Külliye boycott could be an opportunity to prevent a major collapse by gradually releasing the accumulated energy on the People's Alliance fault line.
Perhaps there is a need for a small break, to pause and catch one's breath, to account for the recent past, and to renew trust.
Because the series of events that have upset both Devlet Bey and the MHP administration—from Cyprus to the solution process, from appointments to the Istanbul investigations—is quite extensive.
They believe that a parallel structure that does not comply with the state order has formed and is determining the course of politics.
Humbly, there are parts I personally agree/disagree with, but I am among those who think that the political institution cannot govern its own agenda.
For example.
While Turkey wakes up to an operation every morning, the government cannot keep its priorities, such as the housing project of the century, on the positive agenda.
However, instead of being caught in the wind of the created agenda, the government should have shaken things up with the wind of the agenda it created itself.
In summary.
The political institution must resolve internal disputes and take the reins."
MHP’nin sessiz külliye boykotu, cumhur ittifakı fay hattındaki birikmiş enerjiyi kademeli boşaltarak büyük bir yıkımı önlemek için fırsat olabilir.
