AKP municipality couldn't even spell Atatürk's name correctly! Fixed with tape
The AKP-run Ordu Metropolitan Municipality misspelled Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's name on posters prepared for November 10.
Posters were prepared by the AKP-run Ordu Metropolitan Municipality to commemorate the anniversary of the death of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey. It was observed that Atatürk's name was misspelled on the posters hung on billboards in the city center.
CITIZENS REACTED
The poster, prepared in the name of Mayor Hilmi Güler, featured the date of Atatürk's death, 1938, and an infinity symbol, while the phrase “We commemorate the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatatürk, with respect, gratitude, and mercy” was included.

FIXED BY APPLYING TAPE!
The municipality found the solution in applying black tape over the billboards. The act of applying black tape over the billboards and writing 'Atatürk' on it sparked further controversy.
