It has been alleged that AKP Balıkesir Deputy İsmail Ok intervened to have a chief correctional officer, who was appointed to a penal institution in Muğla, transferred to Balıkesir.
In the document bearing the signature of AKP's İsmail Ok, it was stated that the transfer was requested on the grounds of the personnel's health issues.
According to the report by Birgün, the request letter signed by İsmail Ok shows that he requested the acceptance of the excuse application of a chief guard named T.Z., who was appointed to Muğla following a promotion exam.
The following statements were included in the document in question:
"T.Z., who has been appointed as a Chief Correctional Officer at the Muğla (…) Institution following the Promotion and Title Change exam, has a request application regarding an excuse numbered BM 2026/6748 to be transferred to one of the Penal Execution Institutions in Balıkesir due to health conditions, and I respectfully submit this matter to your appreciation and discretion."
