AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik: Özgür Özel targeted the commanders

"As we know very well from the past, there were two paths that the CHP preferred because it could never get a visa from the nation and therefore could not come to power with the nation's approval.

One was to interfere in the internal affairs of the TSK to create an environment of chaos and to find a political path for itself against the political institution in the face of this chaos, playing a role in favor of military tutelage instead of supporting the national will.

The second issue was to interfere in the judiciary and create various forms of chaos by engaging in cronyism there. A sentence used by President Erdoğan at our grand congress was highlighted by some opposition figures.

President Erdoğan was talking about transforming the opposition there; they tried to present this as interference in politics. What was meant was this: This political party, which represents the Yassıada mentality, had begun to learn to respect democratic processes and the national will at the end of the great transformations and great democratic revolutions carried out in Turkey under the leadership of President Erdoğan. For this reason, they were forced to hang the phrase 'The Word Belongs to the Nation' on their own political party building.

All our friends have become the most important spokespersons of this political conscience in the world and on all platforms where they are present.

The fact that our President is a leader who evaluates and expresses the political conscience of the alliance of humanity not only for Turkey but for the whole world is also expressed by the heads of state of other countries.

In terms of the qualities of Turkish politics and the future of our democracy, we find this situation extremely strange because we believe there should be a high-quality opposition, and this situation is truly regrettable for those who care about politics and democracy.

That is why we see that Mr. Özgür Özel produces something baseless against our President every day to cover up internal party discussions.

Özgür Özel should focus on managing the Republican People's Party. Then he should express his opinion on Turkey's issues.
