Çelik reacted to the remarks made by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel targeting President Erdoğan. Çelik stated, "It is not his place to make such statements about our President. We will not allow political lynching campaigns, we will not allow people to be targeted through political lynching campaigns, nor will we allow any allegations against someone to be covered up through political patronage," he said.
AKP Spokesperson Çelik made the following statements in his remarks:
"After a beautiful evening filled with culture and art, I would not have wanted to talk about an unpleasant topic like Özgür Özel. But he has used certain expressions against our President. Özgür Özel must also receive an answer to these expressions. Our President is the leader who has managed the Republic of Turkey with the highest level of political capacity in our republican history. Since the Atatürk era, after the transition to multi-party life, no leader has been seen who has managed the Republic of Turkey with such high capacity, wisdom, prudence, and political performance during the multi-party era.
"IT IS NOT HIS PLACE TO MAKE THESE STATEMENTS"
Our President is one of the few leaders who shapes world politics. Therefore, let alone Özgür Özel making an assessment on such a subject, as someone who does not have elementary-level knowledge about governing Turkey, and as someone who does not even have kindergarten-level knowledge about world politics, it is not his place to make these sentences.
Someone who has handed over the Republican People's Party, one of the important parties that our citizens have embraced in our republican history, to a network of thieves with his own hands, someone who has not been able to manage his own party, has no ability to evaluate the management capacity and management performance of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, our President.
"NOT A SINGLE PENNY WILL COME OUT OF THE STATE'S AND THE NATION'S POCKET"
Those who usurp the rights of our citizens will definitely pay the price. Whoever they may be. The rights of our citizens whose rights have been usurped will also be returned to them. While this is being done, the money for this will be taken from these fund fraudsters. Not a single penny will come out of the state's pocket or the nation's pocket.
Upon the instruction of our President, the fund board established under the chairmanship of our Vice President held its fourth meeting. Decisions are being taken rapidly. So, what is the opposition doing while all these frameworks are being created? They are engaging in the politics of lies, the politics of slander, especially Özgür Özel. And every day they are signing off on an immoral approach that blows up in their faces.
"WE WILL GIVE THE CLEAREST ANSWER"
We will not allow political lynching campaigns, we will not allow people to be targeted through political lynching campaigns, nor will we allow any allegations against someone to be covered up through political patronage. This matter has now exceeded its limits. If anyone attacks our ministers, our deputy chairmen, the corporate identity of the AK Party, but most importantly, let me be clear, our President and our President's family by producing lies through political lynching campaigns, we will give the clearest answer to this.
Whoever has documents or information should take them to the courthouse and provide the information. They are lynching people through political lynching by first calling it an allegation, calling it hearsay, saying it was like this or like that.
