AKP's Tayyar defends MP who obtained 'poverty certificate', attacks CHP: 'He's on autopilot, just stomping around'

AKP Aksaray MP Hüseyin Altınsoy apologized to the public following reports that his wife had obtained a 'poverty certificate' from a neighborhood headman (muhtar) to avoid paying court costs in an inheritance lawsuit.

Altınsoy also argued that the issue was being exploited by CHP members. Following Altınsoy's criticism of the CHP in his apology statement, a new statement came from Umut Akdoğan, who leveled a new allegation against Altınsoy.

CHP Ankara MP Umut Akdoğan had pointed out in a video he posted on social media that Serap Altınsoy was exempted from paying court fees with a “poverty certificate” and stated that a prosecutor's investigation into the matter had begun.

Akdoğan used the following expressions in his post:

You didn't just sit with your fault. You apologized by slandering the Republican People's Party. Now, the thing to do is very clear, brother.
