An interesting 'proposal' from the AKP to CHP leader Özel: 'Let's make Turkey soar together'

Reminding that 81 thousand independent units were damaged in Kahramanmaraş due to the earthquakes, Elitaş stated the following:

"Under the leadership of our President and with his past efforts and experience, the government, which overcame the Erzincan earthquake, the Van earthquake, and the İzmir earthquake in the best possible way with passion and excitement, is making efforts to quickly heal the pain felt across 11 provinces centered in Kahramanmaraş. 81 thousand independent units were damaged in Kahramanmaraş, and thank God, we have completed 31 thousand of them by the end of 2024. Hopefully, under the leadership of our President, we are continuing our best efforts to approach 80 thousand by the end of the year."

Drawing attention to the developments in Syria, Elitaş stated that the opposition has displayed a contradictory stance on this issue.

Mustafa Elitaş continued his speech as follows:

"At the end of November, opposition forces in Syria took action, and on December 8, they conquered Damascus. At that time, those who voted 'no' to the international agreements we brought forward, saying 'What are you doing in Syria? What are you doing in Libya?', those who objected and asked 'What will we do in Syria?', and those who criticized us by saying 'There are no Turks left there, no Turkmens left, no one left in the countryside or the towns,' are now extraordinarily uncomfortable with the will of the people coming to Syria; they are not happy at all. Why? Because if the problem in Syria is solved and our Syrian brothers and sisters whom we host here return to their countries, they are worried that all their toys will be taken away, as they will have no material left to conduct politics with and no environment left to provoke."

"TOGETHER, YOU IN THE OPPOSITION, WE IN POWER, LET'S MAKE TURKEY SOAR"

Stating that Turkey needs a strong opposition, Elitaş said, "We need a good opposition party. Mr. Özgür Özel, for God's sake, leave the group deputy chairmanship behind and be the chairman. Be the chairman of the main opposition party and produce good policies. Together, you in the opposition and we in power, let's make Turkey soar. Hopefully, let's try to overcome the troubles in this geography together, hand in hand."
