A fire broke out at a boutique hotel located in the Sazlı village of Ayvacık district in Çanakkale. During the fire, which occurred around 02:00, the hotel's kitchen section burned completely and was rendered unusable. Hotel staff, who saw flames rising from the kitchen area, reported the situation to the local gendarmerie and fire department teams.
FLAMES SPREAD TO FOREST AREA!
The fire in the hotel's kitchen section was brought under control with the intervention of the Ayvacık Municipality fire department teams. During the fire, some of the flames spread to the forest area located next to the hotel. The Çanakkale Regional Directorate of Forestry teams on duty in the region brought the flames in the forest area under control and prevented the fire from growing.
It was learned that the hotel was empty during the fire, and the gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the incident.
