Yumaklı stated that the strong solidarity between the state and the nation in the fight against forest fires will continue. Minister Yumaklı emphasized that due to climate change, the risk of fire will persist until October.

Stating that the meeting was held at the Fire Management Center of the General Directorate of Forestry under the Ministry, Yumaklı noted that the meeting was attended by Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Enver İskurt, and Disaster and Emergency Management Authority President Okay Memiş.

FOREST FIRE RISK WILL CONTINUE UNTIL OCTOBER

Yumaklı stated that due to rising temperatures, low humidity, and strong winds caused by the impact of climate change, the risk of forest fires will continue until October.

Emphasizing that they are on constant alert with all teams in the field for this reason, Yumaklı noted the following: "In the meeting we held today, we shared the work our Ministry has carried out in the fight against forest fires with our relevant ministers. As in the past, our struggle today will continue with a strong solidarity where the state and the nation stand shoulder to shoulder. We are constantly updating both our preparation and intervention capacities through strong institutional cooperation to protect our Green Homeland. We also expect sensitivity from our citizens during this process. It is our common responsibility to act without forgetting that a small act of negligence can lead to major disasters."
