Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu had filed a complaint: Prison sentence sought for rapper Vahap Canbay

A notable indictment has been prepared as part of the ongoing investigation in Istanbul into the murder of Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı. Following a complaint by Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, who is in custody and accused of being an instigator in the investigation, a lawsuit has been filed against rapper Vahap Canbay on charges of "simple threat" and "stalking."

DETAILED ACCUSATIONS IN THE INDICTMENT

The indictment, prepared by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, includes the petition submitted by the lawyer of the complainant, Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu. The petition states that the suspect, Vahap Canbay, who is involved in rap music, is Kalaycıoğlu's ex-boyfriend.

It was stated that during their relationship, Canbay subjected the complainant to psychological pressure and violence, which led to the end of the relationship. It is alleged that the suspect threatened Kalaycıoğlu, claiming he would erase her from the industry and ensure she would never work again.

Furthermore, it was claimed that despite the complainant's desire not to communicate, Canbay continued to harass Kalaycıoğlu through various means.

ALLEGEDLY WAITED IN FRONT OF THE STUDIO

According to the information in the petition, it is alleged that on March 19, the suspect Canbay, along with his friends, arrived in a vehicle at the studio where Kalaycıoğlu had gone to work and waited there.

CANBAY DENIED THE ACCUSATIONS

The indictment also includes the defense of the suspect, Vahap Canbay. Canbay stated that he did not make any statements about erasing the complainant from the industry. Expressing that he supported Kalaycıoğlu in music production, Canbay denied all accusations, arguing that he did not engage in stalking.

AUDIO RECORDINGS AND SUICIDE ALLEGATION

The indictment notes that audio recordings submitted to the investigation file regarding the death of Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı on March 19 were also examined. It was reported that in the recordings in question, it was determined that Canbay, in a tearful tone, asked Kalaycıoğlu if she was in a relationship with someone else and made statements indicating he would commit suicide.

The prepared indictment includes information that after this conversation, Canbay arrived in the vehicle used by Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı at the studio where Kalaycıoğlu was located and waited there.

It was noted that the incident in which Kundakçı lost his life, which is being investigated separately, occurred around 23:00.
