Ali Yerlikaya announced: 5,309 fugitives with arrest warrants captured in 'Operation Circle'

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that 5,309 wanted individuals have been captured.

"We will never allow fugitive criminals to roam our streets. We will not permit them to disturb the peace of our families," said Yerlikaya, noting that among those captured, 10 had been wanted for more than 10 years, 41 for between 5 and 10 years, and 5,258 for between 0 and 5 years.

In his post, Minister Yerlikaya stated, "In the last 4 days, 5,309 wanted individuals with arrest warrants were captured and delivered to justice by our Provincial Gendarmerie Commands and Provincial Security Directorates across 81 provinces during road checks and operations conducted at workplaces and homes. I congratulate our governors, district governors, provincial gendarmerie commanders, provincial police chiefs, and all our police officers, gendarmerie personnel, and Coast Guard units who participated in the operations. We are determined to capture those who are wanted and deliver them to justice."
