According to the information shared by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, operations targeting online child exploitation were carried out in Adana, Adıyaman, Afyonkarahisar, Antalya, Artvin, Aksaray, Balıkesir, Bilecik, Bolu, Çanakkale, Bursa, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Hatay, İstanbul, İzmir, Karabük, Kayseri, Kırklareli, Kırşehir, Kilis, Konya, Mardin, Manisa, Mersin, Muğla, Nevşehir, Ordu, Osmaniye, Sakarya, Siirt, Sivas, Sinop, Şanlıurfa, Tekirdağ, Trabzon, Yalova, and Zonguldak, under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security's Cybercrime Combat Department and the Cybercrime Combat Branches of the Provincial Police Departments.
As a result of the operations, 82 suspects identified as having committed the crime of "online child exploitation" were apprehended following joint efforts with international independent organizations such as NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) and the Child Protection System.
