Ali Yerlikaya announces! 'Heroes' operation with 18,500 gendarmes in 8 provinces: 21 caves and shelters destroyed

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 21 caves and shelters, which terrorists belonging to the separatist terrorist organization had prepared to take refuge in during the winter months in rural areas, have been destroyed.

The statement shared by Interior Minister Yerlikaya on social media is as follows:

In the 'Heroes' operation carried out to destroy the caves and shelters prepared by terrorists belonging to the separatist terrorist organization to take refuge in during the winter months in rural areas, 21 caves and shelters were destroyed in 7 provinces.

We are destroying the terrorists' dens one by one, and we will continue to do so!

In the operations carried out by 18,500 of our Gendarmerie, which also included Atak helicopters alongside J-SIHAs (Gendarmerie Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), in the rural areas of Cudi Mountain, Silopi, Kazan Valley, Yüksekova, Başkale, Bilice, Tatvan, Alaçık, Şenkaya, and Kağızman in ŞIRNAK, HAKKARİ, VAN, BİTLİS, BİNGÖL, TUNCELİ, ERZURUM, AND KARS;

1 anti-aircraft gun,

8 AK-47 infantry rifles,

26 RPG-7 rocket launcher munitions,

28 RPG-7 rocket launcher propellant cartridges,

2 pieces of 3 kg TNT (destroyed along with bomb attack mechanisms),

3 M1 infantry rifles,

4 machine guns,

3 hand grenades,

3 IEDs (prepared to be placed on roads along the transit routes of gendarmerie, police, and soldiers),

9,838 rounds of ammunition,

35 gas canisters,

5 radios, and a large quantity of food, living supplies, medical materials, and organizational documents were seized. The shelters prepared by the terrorist organization for use during the winter months were identified and destroyed one by one.
