Ali Yerlikaya announces! Narkogüç operation in 15 provinces: 199 detained

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that Narkogüç operations were carried out in 15 provinces and that 199 suspects, including drug traffickers and street dealers, were taken into custody.

Minister Yerlikaya stated that a total of 4.5 tons of narcotics, including 58 kg of cocaine, and 64,800 drug pills were seized during the operations.

Yerlikaya shared the following information regarding the operations:

"In the operation conducted by the Diyarbakır Provincial Gendarmerie Command; 3 tons 500 kg of cannabis, 504 thousand cannabis plants, and 218 thousand skunk plants were seized. 11 suspected drug traffickers were apprehended.

In the operation conducted by our Diyarbakır Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch, 259.5 kg of skunk was seized. 3 suspected drug traffickers were apprehended.

In 2 separate operations conducted by our Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch, 44.5 kg of cocaine, 2.5 kg of methamphetamine, and 248 kg of skunk were seized. 7 suspected drug traffickers were apprehended.

In the operation conducted by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command;

1 kg of cocaine, 10 liters of liquid methamphetamine, 2 kg of skunk, and 25,000 drug pills were seized. 1 suspected drug trafficker was apprehended.

In the operation conducted by the Edirne Provincial Gendarmerie Command; 10 kg of cocaine was seized. 2 suspected drug traffickers were apprehended.

In the operation conducted by the İzmir Provincial Gendarmerie Command; 2.5 kg of cocaine, 3 kg of cannabis, and 25,800 drug pills were seized. 8 suspected drug traffickers were apprehended.

In the operation conducted by the Sinop Provincial Gendarmerie Command; various amounts of drug pills and methamphetamine were seized. 34 suspected drug traffickers and their subcontracted street dealers were apprehended.

In the operation conducted by the Aydın Provincial Gendarmerie Command; various amounts of narcotics were seized. 44 suspected drug traffickers and their subcontracted street dealers were apprehended.

In the operation conducted by the Kırklareli Provincial Gendarmerie Command; various amounts of methamphetamine were seized. 7 suspected drug traffickers and their subcontracted street dealers were apprehended.

In the operation conducted by the Gaziantep Provincial Gendarmerie Command; various amounts of methamphetamine and drug pills were seized. 16 suspected drug traffickers and their subcontracted street dealers were apprehended.

In the operation conducted by our Gaziantep Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch, 103 kg of methamphetamine was seized. 1 drug trafficker was arrested.

In the operation conducted by the Kahramanmaraş Provincial Gendarmerie Command; various amounts of methamphetamine, heroin, and drug pills were seized. 54 suspected drug traffickers and their subcontracted street dealers were apprehended.

In the operation conducted by the Denizli Provincial Gendarmerie Command; 21 kg of cannabis was seized, and 1 suspected drug trafficker was apprehended.

In the operation conducted by the Osmaniye Provincial Gendarmerie Command; various amounts of cannabis and synthetic cannabinoids were seized, and 1 suspected drug trafficker was apprehended.

In 2 separate operations conducted by our Şanlıurfa Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch, 192.5 kg of skunk was seized. 2 suspected drug traffickers were apprehended.

In the operation conducted by our Erzurum Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch, 0.5 kg of cannabis was seized. 1 suspected drug trafficker was apprehended.

In the operation conducted by our Bursa Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch, 39 thousand drug pills were seized. 3 suspected drug traffickers were apprehended.

In the operation conducted by our Bolu Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch, 13 kg of skunk was seized. 3 suspected drug traffickers were apprehended.
