Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced in a post on his X account that Operation Fog-2 was carried out simultaneously in 81 provinces.

It was stated that legal action was taken against 457 suspects within the scope of the operation, and a tax loss of 37 million TL was prevented.

Yerlikaya announced that as a result of the operation, 13,091,486 filled macarons, 9,319,210 empty macarons, 81,030 packs of cigarettes, 8,908 kg of tobacco products, 9,429 cigars, 12,913 electronic cigarettes and liquids, 9,239 fake excise stamps, and 41 industrial-type macaron filling machines used in illegal cigarette manufacturing were seized.
