Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya held a video conference meeting attended by the governors of all provinces to evaluate issues regarding "voluntary, safe, dignified, and orderly returns, the fight against irregular migration, terrorism, public order, drugs, and organized crime groups."
Minister Yerlikaya made the following statement regarding the meeting in a post on his social media account:
"We held our Video Conference Meeting with our Deputy Ministers, our General Commander of the Gendarmerie, our Director General of Security, our Coast Guard Commander, our unit managers, and the Governors of our 81 provinces.
The main agenda items of our meeting were:
Voluntary, Safe, Dignified, and Orderly Returns,
The Fight Against Irregular Migration,
The fight against terrorism, public order, drugs, and organized crime groups.
We are working with all our might with our 620 thousand personnel for the peace and security of our country, and we will continue to do so."
