The name of Ali Yörük, who carried money in bags for Seçil Erzan and is being tried as a detainee in the same case, comes up in many conversations.

The mobile phone of Ali Yörük, who was arrested as part of the investigation, has been examined.

A STRIKING CONVERSATION

As a result of the examination, a striking conversation involving Ali Yörük on April 12, 2023, was uncovered.

Ali Yörük was first called by a friend using a Philippines country code, and they later exchanged messages. His friend, whose name could not be identified, told Ali Yörük, "All the victims will blow up. Anyone who hears about this this week will run to the prosecutor's office."

The conversation between Ali Yörük and his friend:

Friend: Ayhan called, has the woman been busted, is there any Aslı?

Ali Yörük: Exactly.

Friend: Well, we said they would take her. It was obvious.

Ali Yörük: You had said so.

Friend: All the newly taken victims will blow up, anyone who hears about it this week will run to the prosecutor's office. Ayhan is saying the same thing.

Ali Yörük: It doesn't concern me, I'm not in contact.

Friend: I warned you back then, if you continued, there is surveillance, you'll get burned, I hope you're careful, the woman won't be able to get out for 20 years.

Ali Yörük: Hopefully.

Friend: We'll talk later, I'll ask the older brother now, they are looking at our file in Ankara.

THE CONNECTION BETWEEN SEÇİL ERZAN AND ALİ YÖRÜK

According to Seçil Erzan's claims, she had paid back more than the money she received from Ali Yörük. According to the allegations in Erzan's statement, she would send Ali Yörük to collect money from some customers from whom she had received funds. One of these was İnci Çeviker, the wife of complainant Bülent Çeviker.

Seçil Erzan stated in her testimony, "He took 2 million 200 thousand dollars from İnci Çeviker outside the bank. He took 400 thousand dollars from it. He brought the rest to me. I gave Ali Yörük too much money. I made a lot of payments, especially in 2021 and 2022."

INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED REGARDING ALİ YÖRÜK

Following these statements, upon the instruction of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office conducting the investigation, teams from the Financial Crimes Bureau launched a comprehensive study on Ali Yörük.

In the examination of the assets of Ali Yörük, who did not accept Seçil Erzan's allegations in his statement, a striking increase was detected in the real estate properties of both himself and his wife, Aslı Yörük, in 2021 and 2022.

It was determined that Ali Yörük exited Kapıkule and entered Bulgaria 42 times between 2019 and 2023. Yörük returned to the country one day after each exit.

CLOSE TO THE DATES GIVEN BY COMPLAINANTS

It was noted that some of the exit dates of Ali Yörük, who said in his statement that he went to Bulgaria for day trips to have fun, were close to the dates when Seçil Erzan received large amounts of money from the complainants. According to the information obtained, Galatasaray's Uruguayan goalkeeper Fernando Muslera gave 700 thousand dollars to Seçil Erzan in December 2022.

Ali Yörük also appears to have exited the country on December 16 at 19:22. He returned to the country one day later.

STRIKING DATES

For example, complainant Ömer Kahraman gave 300 thousand dollars to Seçil Erzan on January 9, 2023. Again, on January 13, Buse Terim's relative Terim Arıcan gave a certain amount of money to Seçil Erzan to complete the 300 thousand dollars in the so-called private fund.

Ali Yörük had a striking exit from the country that very month, on January 13, 2023. Ali Yörük, who exited Turkey at 17:26, re-entered Turkey the next morning at 05:40.
