It has been learned that former İYİ Party Istanbul Deputy and Deputy Chairman Salim Ensarioğlu, Konya Deputy Ünal Karaman, and Antalya Deputy Prof. Dr. Serap Yazıcı Özbudun, who left the Future Party (Gelecek Partisi), will join the AKP.

According to a report by Sözcü columnist Saygı Öztürk, it was on the agenda for Ensarioğlu to join the CHP after leaving the İYİ Party. However, it was learned that he did not join the CHP because some deputies within the party opposed this move. Ensarioğlu, who has a wide circle of influence in Diyarbakır and served as a state minister in the past, made his decision to join the AKP following contacts that were made.

Former national football player and Konya Deputy Ünal Karaman had been serving as an independent for a while after leaving the İYİ Party. It had been rumored for some time that Karaman would join the AKP, and it was stated that this transition would take place today.

Constitutional law professor Serap Yazıcı Özbudun, one of the founding members of the Future Party, resigned from her party in the evening hours.

In a statement on her social media account, Yazıcı, who used the phrase "I am resigning from the Future Party due to necessity," is said to have been in contact with AKP officials for some time.

It has been learned that Serap Yazıcı, who is known especially for her harsh criticisms of the Presidential Government System, will take on an important role in the new constitution efforts to be prepared by the AKP.
