All lawsuits filed regarding the CHP convention have been dismissed!

CHP Deputy Chair Gül Çiftci announced that the 17th, 31st, and 42nd Civil Courts of First Instance in Ankara have dismissed all lawsuits filed with a request for a preliminary injunction regarding the 38th Ordinary Convention of the CHP.

CHP Deputy Chair Gül Çiftci announced the latest development on her social media account. Çiftci stated, "Those who clung to baseless allegations—whose origins and purposes are clear—regarding our 38th Ordinary Convention held on November 4-5, 2023, and who wandered the courthouse doors to have a trustee appointed to the Republican People's Party, did not find what they were hoping for."

Stating that "the petitions of the individuals who applied to the 42nd, 31st, and 17th Civil Courts of First Instance in Ankara with a request for a preliminary injunction were separately dismissed by the court panels," Çiftci added the following:

"All three courts decided that a preliminary injunction can only be evaluated according to the rules of prima facie evidence, and that when the petitions were examined, the plaintiffs' claims were not supported by evidence at the level of prima facie proof. Let this be a notice to those who want to cast suspicion on the founding party of the Republic of Turkey, those who hope for help from the struggles of a government that is one step closer to defeat every day, and those who line up to act as pawns."
