Allegation of 500 million lira budget for 11 MPs from AKP: Huge figure for transfers

As statements regarding the MPs expected to join the AKP on its anniversary continue to emerge, journalist Mustafa Balbay appeared on the 'Gün Ortası' program on Tele1 and made a striking claim.

Balbay announced that he had received information that the AKP is preparing to transfer 11 MPs and has allocated a budget of 500 million lira for these transfers.

Evaluating the current political agenda on the program, Balbay shared striking information regarding the AKP's preparations for MP transfers.

Highlights from Balbay's statement are as follows:

“While evaluating the situation after the March 31 elections, we said there were 3 options for the coming period:

1- CHP's single-party rule

2- AKP's search to become a strong option again by using every method

3- The emergence of a third option

At this stage, everything related to the emergence of a third way seems to have collapsed. The situation of Meral Akşener and the IYI Party... The fact that the Future Party (Gelecek Partisi) and DEVA have accepted the picture that they can no longer take a step forward, and the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) spinning its wheels... This picture shows that a third way is no longer visible at this stage.”

Stating that the AKP is preparing to transfer 11 MPs, Balbay said, “Hamza Dağ announced it a little while ago. He said 2 MPs. But I heard that 11 MPs are being targeted.”

500 MILLION LIRA BUDGET

Stating that he also received information that the AKP has allocated a budget of at least 500 million lira for the transfers in question, Balbay said, “In such an environment, if you are joining the AKP, it means you are either thinking about your personal future, or you have no other choice but to join the AKP. In other words, by using every method. It is being talked about in Ankara that the AKP has allocated at least 500 million lira for such transfers.”

“IYI PARTY AND FUTURE PARTY...”

Stating that the transfers to the AKP will be predominantly from the IYI Party and the Future Party, Balbay said:

“I expect 2 from the New Welfare Party. I expect 1 from the Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi). I expect the mayors to be predominantly from the IYI Party. There could be an intense transition, predominantly from the IYI Party and the Future Party. It is said that Babacan is standing firm in his own way in DEVA. If there is a solution there, it will be as a bloc. A hole has been opened in the wall, but that is understood.”
