Allegation that an MHP member is also involved in the fake diploma scandal: It had come up before

Yeniçağ Newspaper columnist Fatih Ergin has made an allegation that has dropped like a bombshell on the agenda. Ergin claimed that MHP Mersin Deputy Levent Uysal is also on the list of public officials with fake diplomas that has shaken Turkey's agenda.

Fatih Ergin used the following expressions in his post on his social media account:

“Among those with fake diplomas is MHP Mersin Deputy Levent Uysal, whom I previously revealed had provided a fake Vakıfbank letter of guarantee to a creditor for a 45 million Euro loan he was to receive from Switzerland... Will his diploma be cancelled?”

In the previous incident mentioned by Ergin, it was alleged that Levent Uysal used a fake Vakıfbank letter of guarantee for a 45 million Euro loan he planned to obtain from Switzerland. This allegation caused a wide repercussion in public opinion, and no detailed statement came from Uysal's side.

MANY NAMES MENTIONED IN THE SCANDAL

Many people's names have appeared in the fake diploma scandal that has emerged in recent days. One of these names was Abdülhamid Kayıhan Osmanoğlu, who is claimed to be the 4th generation grandson of Sultan Abdulhamid II. Osmanoğlu's undergraduate diploma from the Department of History at Inönü University Faculty of Science and Letters was cancelled following the scandal that emerged.

In addition to this, it was revealed that former Minister and President Erdoğan's son-in-law Berat Albayrak did not write his doctoral thesis himself.
