RESPONSE FROM ÇAKIR TO SAYMAZ: THE QUESTION YOU ARE REFERRING TO WAS ASKED

A response to Saymaz's allegation came from Habertürk Ankara Representative Fevzi Çakır. Quoting Saymaz's post, Çakır said, "I was not given any such 'warning' or 'suggestion.' All questions regarding the country's agenda, including the one you are referring to, were asked to the President. The President answered our questions during a conversation and within a 'limited' time frame. I request a correction on behalf of myself, whom you have cast under suspicion."

In his response to Çakır, Saymaz recalled the statement released by the Directorate of Communications regarding the questions asked to Erdoğan and his answers, stating the following:

"I did not refer to any specific journalist, nor did I cast anyone under suspicion.

I trust my sources. If the question I am referring to was asked, why is it not included in the Directorate of Communications' text? If the question I am referring to was asked, where is the answer?"
