Allegations of a 'money offer' from the Kınık family for the second time! Grieving mother emphasizes justice

Fatma Zehra Kınık Demir, daughter of former Turkish Red Crescent President Kerem Kınık, continues to be tried for causing the accident on July 9, 2024, which resulted in the death of 17-year-old Batın Barlasçeki. While Fatma Zehra Kınık Demir, who faces up to 15 years in prison, is being tried without arrest despite public outcry, the family of Batın Barlasçeki continues their fight for justice.

According to a report by İsmail Arı from Birgün; Batın Barlasçeki's mother, Hasret Doğan, announced that the Kınık family had offered them money for the second time ahead of the hearing scheduled for Monday, May 26, where a verdict is expected.

"WE ARE READY TO DO WHATEVER THEY WANT"

In her statement, Doğan said, "This is not just my case, but the case of my only son, Batın, and as the voice he can no longer raise, I will seek my son's rights to the end and I will never give up on this case! On May 26, I will go to my son and say, 'Your mother succeeded, my son, may your soul find peace!' This is a promise to myself and to my son," and added the following:

"Kerem Kınık and his daughter Zehra Kınık sent us an offer through other people, saying 'We are ready to do whatever they want,' and that they wanted to do everything, including charitable acts like building a fountain in my son's name. But in exchange for what? In exchange for withdrawing the complaint. If I didn't withdraw it, they even asked me to talk to the other family and convince them! Just as my only son went under the ground, your daughter will go behind four walls, Kerem Kınık!"

WHAT HAPPENED?

Fatma Zehra Kınık Demir, daughter of former Turkish Red Crescent President Kerem Kınık, who faces up to 15 years in prison for causing death and injury by negligence due to the accident that led to the death of 17-year-old Batın Barlasçeki, was released by the court to be tried without arrest.
