Allegations that neurosurgeon Sezer Zehir brought a cleaning staff member into surgery at Bozüyük State Hospital in Bilecik!
It has been alleged that Sezer Zehir, who has been working as a neurosurgeon at Bozüyük State Hospital in Bilecik for approximately 8 years, allowed a cleaning staff member and employees of a medical firm to enter operating rooms and perform surgical procedures.
A scandalous allegation has emerged regarding Bozüyük State Hospital in Bilecik.
PASSED AWAY 2 MONTHS AFTER SURGERY
According to a report by İsmail Arı from BirGün, the hospital's neurosurgeon Sezer Zehir has been reported to the Provincial Health Directorate multiple times over allegations that he operated on patients who did not need surgery, brought individuals who were not healthcare personnel into surgeries, and engaged in various forms of misconduct.
In fact, letters sent to the Provincial Health Directorate explicitly stated that the surgeries performed by Sezer Zehir should be investigated and that there were discrepancies between the diagnoses patients received and the procedures performed during surgery.
Following the complaints, after a patient who was operated on June 9 passed away two months later, the family went to the prosecutor's office and filed a criminal complaint against Zehir.

It was stated that the Ministry of Health has launched an investigation into Sezer Zehir. While ministry inspectors were interviewing healthcare workers at the hospital, it was reported that photographs taken during surgeries that Sezer Zehir was supposed to perform have also surfaced. According to the allegations, in photos taken during surgery, a citizen who was completely sedated under general anesthesia was seen being operated on by a cleaning staff member at the hospital named Cengiz, and in another surgery, by individuals named Erman and Rıfat, who are alleged to be medical firm employees.
Following the exposure of the scandal, the cleaning staff member named Cengiz was reassigned.
The individual was removed from Bozüyük State Hospital and assigned to the Bilecik Provincial Health Directorate. It is alleged that neurosurgeon Sezer Zehir has been suspended.
Zehir, for his part, stated that he would not make a statement regarding the scandal and that the legal process is ongoing, leaving questions unanswered.
