Alper Gezeravcı is returning to Turkey
Alper Gezeravcı, who conducted numerous experiments during his time at the International Space Station, is returning to Turkey following the adaptation process that took place after his return to Earth.
The Axiom-3 crew, which included Gezeravcı, departed from the International Space Station on Wednesday at 17:20 via the Dragon capsule.
The Axiom-3 crew landed off the coast of Florida after a journey of approximately 48 hours. Gezeravcı is returning to Turkey after the completion of his adaptation process.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır shared a post on his social media account featuring a photo of Turkey's first astronaut, Alper Gezeravcı, with the caption "the man is returning home" and the hashtag "Be Proud Turkey."
