Amazon's decision on Sausage Party, which RTÜK launched an investigation into
RTÜK had decided to remove the animated film 'Sausage Party: Foodtopia', listed on Amazon Prime with an 18+ rating, from the catalog on the grounds that it was contrary to social values and morality. The series, however, has been renewed for a new season.
RTÜK had previously announced regarding the animated series “Sausage Party: Foodtopia” that “As a result of the deliberations, it was decided to impose a removal from the catalog and an administrative fine at the upper limit on the on-demand media service provider organization with the 'prime video' logo and the title 'Amazon Turkey Video Dijital Yayıncılık Anonim Şirketi', on the grounds that it violated the provision in clause (f) of the first paragraph of Article 8 of Law No. 6112, which states: 'It cannot be contrary to the national and moral values of society, general morality, and the principle of the protection of the family.'”
The show's producers, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, announced that the series has been renewed for a second season.
