Ambassador appointments in the Official Gazette, notable change in the TRNC

Ambassadorial appointments were carried out with a Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, TRNC Ambassador Yasin Ekrem Serim was recalled to headquarters, and Ali Murat Başçeri was appointed in his place.

Ali Murat Ersoy was appointed as Ambassador to India, Elif Çomoğlu to Italy, Sadık Arslan to Singapore, Armağan İnci Ersoy to Panama, Oya Yazar to the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Mekin Mustafa Kemal Ökem to the Kyrgyz Republic.

Yemen Ambassador Mustafa Pulat was recalled to headquarters.

ÖZEL HAD CRITICIZED, RECALLED TO HEADQUARTERS

Turkey's Nicosia Ambassador Yasin Ekrem Serim, whom CHP Chairman Özgür Özel criticized during his group meeting, was recalled to headquarters with an appointment decree published in the Official Gazette under the signature of President Erdoğan.

WHAT DID ÖZGÜR ÖZEL SAY?

I am asking what the cargo of these ships was, and I am asking if strange things happened in anyone's account movements in those days. Or, instead of answering these questions, will you say to me, 'Mr. Özgür, don't do this, don't put Turkey in a difficult position, a child has gotten involved in a mistake, don't dig into these issues, aren't we all in the same boat?' Mr. Tayyip, I am not on that boat. We are not on that boat, but all of you are inside that boat."
