Angered by AI-generated photo: Şener Üşümezsoy reacts to TGRT with 'connect a man with an almond mustache instead'

A magnitude 5.0 earthquake that occurred off the coast of the Marmara Sea caused panic in Istanbul and surrounding provinces. Şener Üşümezsoy, who joined TGRT to evaluate the earthquake, harshly criticized the channel's production team.

Üşümezsoy was taken off the air after reacting to the AI-generated photo used for him, stating, "They should connect a man with an almond mustache as they wish."

A magnitude 5.0 earthquake occurred off the coast of Marmara Ereğlisi in Tekirdağ. The depth of the earthquake, which was also felt in Istanbul, was announced by AFAD as 6.71 kilometers. The Kandilli Observatory announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 5.3. The Istanbul Governor's Office reported that they received damage reports regarding 4 buildings and that there were no injuries.

Participating in the TGRT live broadcast to evaluate the recent earthquake, Şener Üşümezsoy criticized the TGRT production team. Displeased with the photo of him on the side of the screen, Üşümezsoy criticized TGRT. Following his criticism, he was taken off the air.
