Ankara Governor's Office extends ban
The Ankara Governor's Office has decided to extend the duration of the protest ban until 11:59 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
The ban on protests in Ankara regarding operations targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) and actions to be taken against the potential arrest of İBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has been extended.
The Ankara Governor's Office announced that its decision to ban demonstrations and press statements throughout the province will remain in effect from 12:00 AM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, until 11:59 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
In a statement issued by the Ankara Governor's Office, it was stated: "Throughout our province, the implementation of measures taken to ensure peace and security, the inviolability of the person, public safety, and public order will continue from 12:00 AM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, until 11:59 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025."
