Ankara Governor's Office issues 'sonic boom' warning to citizens
The Ankara Governor's Office has issued a warning to citizens regarding HÜRJET's first supersonic flight.
The Ankara Governor's Office has issued a "loud noise" warning, stating that HÜRJET, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), will conduct its first supersonic flight in Ankara.
In a statement shared on the Governor's Office's social media account, it was noted: "Our HÜRJET aircraft will perform its first supersonic flight as part of a planned and controlled operation, using Mürted Airfield for takeoff and landing. This information is provided to our citizens so that they do not experience any anxiety or panic."

The statement indicated that the flight would take place between 09:30 and 10:30.
