Taxi tender announcement from İmamoğlu

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is currently being held at the Marmara Prison in Silivri, announced in a social media post that the tender for 2,500 new taxis that will operate via a mobile application is set to begin.
İmamoğlu wrote the following:
"Despite all efforts to obstruct us, we have achieved a significant victory in our struggle to bring new taxis to Istanbul.
The tender for 2,500 new taxis that will operate via a mobile application is beginning.
I invite all interested citizens to participate in these tenders, which are open to anyone who wishes to apply."
