The investigation into the physical attack on Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel continues.

While Selçuk Tengioğlu, the child killer who carried out the attack, has been arrested as part of the investigation, another suspect has been detained in an operation following threats made against CHP leader Özel from a social media account opened in the attacker's name.

It has been learned that the suspect's processing at the Anadolu Courthouse is ongoing.
