Another cleaning scandal in Adıyaman: Municipality cleaned 120 schools in 1 month

Adıyaman Municipality Cleaning Affairs Directorate teams are continuing their cleaning efforts in schools across the city. The teams have cleaned a total of 120 schools in one month by performing general cleaning at 30 schools per week.

This week, the teams carried out detailed cleaning at Şehit Hasan Aydoğdu Anatolian High School and Şehit Hasan Aydoğdu Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, covering everything from classrooms to restrooms, and corridors to schoolyards.

Adıyaman Municipality Cleaning Affairs Manager Mehmet Batur stated that they prioritize schools with insufficient cleaning staff before the start of the academic year, adding that they are continuing the work with 70 personnel and 6 vehicles.

THEY START IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS

Batur said, "We clean our schools in the early hours of the morning so that our students can receive education in more hygienic environments. Our Mayor, Mr. Abdurrahman Tutdere, also has great sensitivity regarding this issue. Our cleaning work in schools in Adıyaman continues with the first light of the morning. To ensure our students do not study in dirty environments, we come with our workers in the early morning hours and perform a thorough cleaning of our schools from top to bottom. We are doing our best to ensure our students and youth study in a cleaner, more hygienic environment. Our staff cleans the entire school, starting with the windows and desks. We clean the floors, the restrooms, everywhere—wherever a student's hand touches, we clean it," he said.
