Another hospital up for sale in the Newborn Gang investigation: Estimated value determined
A tender process has been initiated for the Esenler Güney Hospital, currently under the management of the SDIF, with an estimated value of 200 million liras.
The sales process has been initiated for Esenler Güney Hospital, one of the healthcare institutions whose management was transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF) as part of the “Newborn Gang” investigation in Istanbul.
The estimated value determined for the hospital, which operates under Güney Hastanesi Sağlık Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti., has been set at 200 million liras. The sale will be conducted via an auction process following the receipt of sealed bids.
TENDER TO BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 30
According to the SDIF's tender announcement, those wishing to participate in the tender must deliver their sealed envelopes containing the required administrative and financial documents to the Sales Commission by 16:00 on September 29, 2026. Bids submitted after this date will not be considered.
The sales tender will take place on September 30, 2026, at 11:00 at the SDIF building in Esentepe, Istanbul. The process will begin with the opening of the sealed envelopes; following the evaluation of the bids, a shortlist will be created, and the auction phase will commence.
As part of the Newborn Gang investigation, the licenses of several healthcare institutions had previously been revoked, and sales announcements had begun to be published for businesses transferred to SDIF management. In this context, sales processes had also been initiated for Avcılar Hospital, Reyap İstanbul, and Reyap Çorlu.
