Akşehir Mayor Ahmet Nuri Köksal has joined the reactions against Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought into the party's management following a 'null and void' (mutlak butlan) decision regarding the CHP convention.
Criticizing Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought into the CHP management following a 'null and void' decision, Akşehir Mayor Köksal stated, "As the Mayor of Akşehir, I must say that you are no longer our fellow townsman. You may still claim to be one of us, but we are not of you."
Köksal wrote the following on his social media account:

Former Chairman of the CHP
I am Dr. A. Nuri Köksal, the Mayor of Akşehir, the hometown of your great-grandfather and the Western Front Headquarters of the Kuvay-ı Milliye (National Forces).. I have expressed my views on the current agenda at length at the CHP district organization, and it has also been published on social media. I would just like to say this to you:
Your lineage may trace back to Seyyid Mahmud Hayrani, who is buried in Akşehir, but as the Mayor of Akşehir, I must say that you are no longer our fellow townsman. You may still claim to be one of us, but we are not of you. Have a good evening."
