Another role for Boğaziçi Rector Naci İnci
With a decision signed by President Erdoğan and published in the Official Gazette, Boğaziçi University Rector Prof. Dr. Naci İnci has been appointed as a member of the TÜBİTAK Board of Directors.
According to the Official Gazette decision signed by President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Boğaziçi University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci İnci has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK). The appointment was published in the Official Gazette dated July 30, 2025.
Within the scope of the decision, the other individuals appointed to the TÜBİTAK Board of Directors are as follows: Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bulut, Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Şuayıp Birinci, ASELSAN General Manager Prof. Dr. Murat İkinci, and Prof. Dr. İsmail Doğan.
İNCI HOLDS FOUR SEPARATE POSITIONS SIMULTANEOUSLY
It is known that Prof. Dr. Naci İnci, whose rectorship at Boğaziçi University continues amid controversy, is also a member of the Board of Directors of Turkcell and a member of the Council of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University. With this latest appointment, it is observed that İnci now holds a total of four separate critical positions.
