Another sailor's body recovered from sunken ship in Zonguldak
The body of another sailor has been found from the Kafkametler ship that sank in Zonguldak. The death toll has risen to 2. Search efforts for 10 sailors are ongoing.
The Turkish ship 'Kafkametler' sank in the Karadeniz Ereğli district of Zonguldak after it was moved offshore on November 19 to prevent it from drifting in the harbor due to a storm, subsequently striking the breakwater.
While search operations were launched for the 12 missing Turkish crew members, the body of Metin Usta, who served as a cook on the ship, had previously been found washed ashore.
