Another scandalous allegation emerges in the Turkish Armed Forces

It is alleged that a scandalous incident took place on November 10 at the Tuzla Infantry School in Istanbul. CHP Çanakkale Deputy Özgür Ceylan submitted a parliamentary question regarding the matter.

Ceylan submitted the parliamentary question to Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, stating, "Information has been reflected in the public domain that, in recent days on social media platforms, a group of lieutenants at the Tuzla Infantry School Command refused to wear Atatürk pins on their lapels during the November 10 Atatürk Commemoration ceremony, that one of the lieutenants tore up an Atatürk picture and threw it on the ground, that a scuffle broke out between them and another group of lieutenants who reacted to this, that the scuffle grew and gendarmerie and police from outside were involved in the incident, and that an administrative investigation has been launched into the matter," and requested a response to this allegation.
