Another seat for appointed rector Naci İnci
While Turkcell Chairman of the Board Şenol Kazancı continues in his role, Arda Ermut, Boğaziçi University's appointed rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci İnci, and Prof. Dr. İdris Sarısoy have been appointed to the board of directors.
Turkcell's new board of directors was determined following the Ordinary General Assembly meeting held today.
According to the statement made by the company, while Turkcell Chairman of the Board Şenol Kazancı continues in his role, Arda Ermut, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci İnci, and Prof. Dr. İdris Sarısoy have been appointed to the board of directors.
Turkcell Board Member Sir Julian Horn-Smith and Independent Board Members Afif Demirkıran and Hüseyin Arslan have stepped down from their positions.
In this context, Ermut has become a Turkcell Board Member, while Prof. Dr. İnci and Prof. Dr. Sarısoy have become Independent Board Members.
In the statement, Turkcell Chairman of the Board Şenol Kazancı shared the following remarks:
"As Turkey's Turkcell, we take pride in bringing the latest technologies to our citizens and working for our country for 30 years. We will work with our new board of directors to realize our goal of making the Century of Turkey the 'Century of Digital.' On this occasion, I would like to thank our board members whose terms have ended for their dedicated work and efforts. I wish our new members joining our board success in their duties.
